New Drawings: Red Period?

These are a couple of new drawings, since a couple of months ago I started to sketch almost exclusivelly in red pencil... why? No idea... but I'm loving how my sketches look in red, the color has a vibration and a very special energy that inspires me, that's whithout mentioning that red has always been my favourite color (no, it's not black, red was always my favourite color)

In the first two I took some kind of "theme", I draw a figure connected to a symbol, I've been reading a lot about Jung and symbols and I'm a little bit obsessed with symbols, and these kind of things come out... do they have some kind of meaning? only my subconscious knows that, and who knows how to get there? hah, for now I'm happy with just drawing and I really like how they turn out, hope you like them too:

"Symbol 1", red pencil on sketchbook.

"Symbol 2", red pencil sketchbook.

Below I'm showing you more drawings, but these are varied in theme and also in red pencil:

"Native Woman", Red pencil on sketchbook.

"The Vultures are waiting for me...", Red pencil on sketchbook.

"Girl in red pencil", Red pencil on sketchbook.
